Call for Applications: Scholarship Program for Participation in the I3AFD-LLM School

The I3AFD School is pleased to announce the launch of its doctoral training scholarship program as part of the 2025 edition of the Artificial Intelligence School: Artificial Learning and Data Mining, which will take place from September 1 to 15, 2025, in Yaoundé (Cameroon). This year, the activities will focus on the foundations and applications of Generative AI.

The objective of this scholarship program is to provide financial support to enable selected candidates to participate in the training activities offered by the school. The coverage includes accommodation and meals during the school, along with a travel allowance. The travel allowance amount depends on the place of residence.

Eligibility

Applicants must meet the following two conditions:

• PhD students or early-career researchers (PhD completed less than 5 years ago).
• Holder of a Master's degree in Computer Science or Applied Mathematics, or equivalent.

Application

The application must include the following documents compiled into a single PDF file:

• A motivation letter
• A CV (maximum 3 pages)
• A brief description of the applicant's current research (maximum 2 pages)
• Proof of PhD enrollment or PhD defense
• For PhD students: a recommendation letter from the research supervisor
